When you live overseas, there are those times that you want just a little taste of home. Most times, although not the best option, there is a McDonalds or KFC that you can go to but here in Montenegro there are no American fast food franchises. However there is one tasty option that gives me a taste of home and it is enough to satisfy my taste buds. That place is Goodfellas New York Pizzeria in the heart of Podgorica. Not only do they have good pizza, they have hamburgers, burritos, tacos, calzones, wraps and chicken wings. My two favorites are pepperoni pizza and the Texas burger. What is the Texas burger you ask? Well it is big just like the name suggests, an all beef patty with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, bacon, onion rings, and waffle fries. You must ask for extra jalapeños on the side so that you can add them to the burger and they will set it off!! Just writing about it is making me have a craving for it, I think I am about to order one right now.
If you find you self in Montenegro make sure to stop into Goodfellas and get a little taste of a New York style pizzeria and you will not be disappointed.
